The 2020 vintage marked the arrival of the long-awaited Premier Cru designations in Pouilly-Fuissé. Of course this fine estate was chosen.
Produced from the younger vines of the estate (20-30 years) in perhaps the finest terroir in Chaintré.
This wine presents a rounder style with plenty of mineral expression. Both ripe and persistent, the tension packed by this wine loosens just enough to provide a full bodied, classic expression of this grape. Very deft wine-making ties all of the elements together beautifully. Power and elegance with just a bit more approachability in its youth than the flagship wine from this estate.
