It was with this small parcel in Maranges that the winery started out in 1998. The oldest vines in this vineyard, located on the lower slopes in the Dheune river valley, were planted in 1934. South/Southeast exposure ensures good ripening every vintage.
Earth and cherry pie notes in the nose lead into a supple mid-weight fruit driven wine with soft tannins and good length. The higher clay content soil makes for a wine that is just plain delicious in the first several years in bottle and aging well for up to 10 years.
