100% Grand Cru fruit from the villages of Avize, Oger, Cramant & Oiry.
This non-vintage cuvée is produced from wines of two consecutive years and the older of the two is aged in oak barrels for one year before bottling. The wine is then aged on the lees in the bottle for at least 4 years.
The NV Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Terroirs is creamy-textured Champagne that shows tons of energy and finesse in its ripe apricots, flowers, smoke and minerals. The aromatics emerge with time, rounding out this compelling effort. The style is more generous than in the Mineral, which follows. I can?t think of too many wines on the market that give readers the opportunity to drink grand cru juice from an important vintage at this price point. Simply put, this Champagne is not to be missed. – Wine Advocate Issue #180:  92 points.
Made from chardonnay vines between 20 and 50 years old in Avize, Cramant, Oiry and Oger, this actually contains a majority of reserve wine. While it’s ripe and rich in feel, its flavors remain well within a green-fruit spectrum of pear, apple and citrus, complemented by a fine, silky texture that reflects its grand cru origins. It’s sleek and focused on the palate, driven by a chalky tension, and it finishes with excellent length and poise. Last tasted: 4/19 – Peter Liem
