This cuvée is composed of grapes grown in Régnié plots of densely planted vines over 50 years old. Declassified to Beaujolais Villages to produce a serious, but juicy styled Gamay that will burst across the starting line in its youth and still age into a poised Cru-worthy wine after a few years in the bottle.
Whole-bunch carbonic maceration and gentle extraction for 7 days coaxes this wine along and is then gently decanted off the solids to finish aging in tank for 6 months before being bottled unfined & unfiltered with no added sulfites.
