Merlot does not enjoy IGP Saint-Guilhem-Le-Désert status, which means we are able to obtain this beauty for a song. Grown in the same terroir as Mas des Brousses’s more prestigious wine, these grapes produce a wine that is rich, round and long. The fruit makes one think of Mourvèdre and Syrah (terroir is important) with blueberry and pepper in the nose. It shows nice complexity and nice, fresh acidity.
