The 2019 Colorino is deep, fleshy and wonderfully expressive. Cedar, sweet pipe tobacco and earthy notes give the 2019 striking aromatic nuance. There is good depth too, but not the heft often found in this indigenous variety. Montenidoli’s 2019 tastes more like a cross between Colorino and Sangiovese, a pretty appealing combination in my book. 91pts VINOUS
