Produced from very old vines, the Brouilly Cuvée des Fous is wonderful, unfurling in the glass with notes of ripe cherries, candied peel, blood orange and raspberries. On the palate, it?s full-bodied, richly tannic and pure, with considerable concentration, depth and dimension, concluding with a long, youthfully chewy finish. This is the most multifaceted and incipiently complex of Lapalu?s wines.
