Produced from 4 hectares of vines planted 7500 vines per hectare in 1987 in the village of Montigny. All estate-grown fruit.
Vinification is direct press, indigenous yeast fermentation in stainless vats. Aged in stainless and neutral oak casks.
This is classic style Sancerre with a bit more weight due to the partial aging in neutral oak. Grassy and tropical notes with some stone fruit come together in the nose and lead into a wine with taught acidity, good mineral and acid texture and a tense finish.
