Domaine de l'Hortus, 2019 Loup Dans La Bergerie
80% Grenache, 20% Syrah
This wine is produced from the younger vines of Hortus estate combined with grapes purchased from the neighbors in the area. The goal here is to produce a medium bodied wine for every day consumption. The result is more than successful, in fact maybe TOO successful for the money. Bright red fruit aromatics lead into a crunchy wine with crisp acidity and good length. This is a truly food-friendly wine that will go well both with fish and steak. What more can one want?
