2019 Chorey-lès-Beaune “Le Grand Saussy”: This is aromatically similar to the Bourgogne but with more evident earth
influences. The supple, round and fleshy middle weight flavors also possess a caressing and rounded mouthfeel while offering
notably better complexity on the nicely detailed, rustic and tension-filled finale. This is quite good and especially so for vines that were hit by hail. 88/2024+ -burghound
