Vineyards: From two small parcels in the Coteaux sud d’Epernay, near their village of Chavot. High chalk content soils with just enough clay topsoil.
This is one of the finest expressions of pure Chardonnay that we’ve seen yet from Laherte. High-toned mineral notes are coated with just enough dosage to make this wine racy but uncuous. Mildly toasty aromatics permeate the wine and the length is truly impressive, finishing off crisp but fully rich and satisfying.
