100% Sangiovese
This is a selection of the best Sangiovese grapes grown on the estate. Hand-harvested, the grapes are fully de-stemmed. Maceration and fermentation takes place in stainless steel temperature-controlled vats and lasts for 16-18 days, normally. After pressing, the wine is aged for 18 months in neutral oak barrels.
This is the highest expression of Sangiovese from this historic estate. A tribute to Anna Corsini, sister of Don Tommaso, this wine shows an abundance of energy with aromas of crunchy cherries, orange peel and floral notes. Coated tannins are layered with red fruit, tobacco, pepper and wild herb flavors. Fresh, long and elegant.
