100% María Ardoña (known also as Merenzao, Bastardo, Trousseau)
This intriguing wine is fermented using 25% of the stems and aged in neutral oak for at least one year. Light in body as one would expect from a Trousseau produced in Galicia, it shows herbal notes and fresh violets on the nose. Bright garnet red in color, it shows excellent concentration putting it in that category of red wines that defy the myth that complex wines need to be dark in color. Quite the contrary, this wine will gain body with age and is backed up by great tension and minerality.
