90% Listán Negro, 10% Tintilla. Indigenous yeast fermentation. Fermented and aged in concrete vats. Minimal sulfur use.
This wine is produced from as many as 25-35 plots in the hills above La Orotava. Vine age ranges from 15-200 years with the oldest trained using the historic Cordon Trenzado system.
Lighter red hew with cranberry and mineral notes in the nose lead into a wine that is far from light. Bright acidity makes this wine dance, showing crisp red berry notes and some earth.
