Minimum 2 week maceration & fermentation on the skins. After press, aged 2 years in stainless steel tanks followed by another 2 years in large format Slovanian oak ovals.
Aromas of herbs and garrigue lead into a very dark wine showing plums and black currants. Tannins are both rustic and firm, making this a wine for the ages. For near-term drinking, decanting is definitely advised and this will go well with hearty roasted meats and dark braise dishes.
