Grown in two vineyards above Faedo; Palai (700 meters) and Frait (400 meters), Sauvignon does extremely well in the Alto Adige. Soil types include sandstone, siltstone, rocky loam, limestone and dolomite, which are perfectly suited to this varietal. The vineyards are planted to a density of 6500 vines per hectare.
The bouquet of this wine has lots of personality showing intense fragrances of elder, fig and tomato blossoms with stone fruits thrown in as well. On the palate is shows crisp acidity and tension with nice mineral notes.
