50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Cabernet Franc, Merlot & Lagrein
Fermented in wood tanks followed by aging for 1 year in French oak and 1 year in bottle before release.
Grown in the Paradisot vineyard above Faedo in the the village of San Michele all’Adige (250 meters elevation). The vineyard is planted to a density of 8,000 vines per hectare and the soils contain sandstone, siltstone, rocky loam, limestone & dolomite.
With a color of deep garnet red with violet tinges in its youth, the bouquet is clean and complex with a fruit basket including wild berries, black currents, raspberries, blackberries, cherries & plums. Quite dry and finely balanced on the palate, there are notes of licorice combined with medium level tannin which make this an ideal wine for red meats and flavorful cheeses.
