Founded in 2003, the sister-and-brother team of Alix and Étienne de Montille created the micro-négociant DEux Montilles. Their goal was to produce predominantly white wines from reliable, top-notch growers in the Côte de Beaune and Côte Chalonnaise to balance the prestigious, mostly red, vineyard holdings of Domaine de Montille.  This boutique winemaking project is a natural extension of their common experience in Burgundy. Alix no longer works with the family domaine, opening a restaurant Comme Chez Moi in the heart of Meursault and Etienne has expanded the family enterprise considerably.

Brian Sieve has been cellar master for all of the wines produced in Burgundy since 2010 and the Maison wines are produced side by side with the estate bottlings. They bear the same attributes that the de Montille family is famous for. Purity of fruit, energy, lower alcohol levels and expressive minerality.
