Pulled from vineyards in Saint-Bris-le-Vineux, one of the oldest winegrowing villages in Burgundy, the soils here are Portlandian clay and chalky limestone. Historically, this village was part of the Chablis appellation, but was excluded at some point for political reasons. The vines average over 30 years of age and are farmed without herbicides and pesticides.
This pale yellow wine has a shimmering silver edge to it. The nose shows classic citrus notes of grapefruit, lemon zest and tangerine. On the palate, the energy of the wine is undeniable. Crisp, almost electric acidity firmly braces and supports the white stone fruit and floral profile. Mouthwatering and extremely food friendly, try this with fish, shellfish and goat cheese.
