2022 Chorey-lès-Beaune “Le Grand Saussy”: Discreet oak influence is present on the cool, fresh and equally pinot-like nose of spicy red cherry. There is better volume and density to the delicious middleweight flavors that possess a suave mid-palate mouthfeel, all wrapped in a dusty and mildly austere but importantly given the hail damage, no dryness.
