The 2018 Bourgogne Rouge is very nice from Domaine Camus-Bruchon this year, offering up a bright and black fruity blend of black cherries, Savigny spice tones, gamebird, a nice touch of soil and a smoky topnote. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, long and has a good core of fruit, with fine focus and grip and just a bit of backend tannin perking up the finish. This will need a couple of years to blossom, but will be a good example. 2021-2040.-88pts-View from the Cellar, John Gilman
