100% Frappato from estate organically grown grapes in Vittoria.
2013 & 2014 harvest bottled in fall 2014. Fermented and aged in amphora with only indigenous yeast. Secondary fermentation was achieved by the addition of 2014 grape must added to 2013 still wine and then bottled with no sugar added (think Agrapart Experience or Vouette et Sorbée Sobre). Disgorged in 2019 with no dosage.
Faded pink color and showing hints of strawberries and raspberries in the nose. Floral and rhubarb notes lead into a wine with nice freshness but showing nice evolved notes as well. Persistent finish. Very complex and intriguing.
