A blend of many different varietals, depending on the vintage, only the free-run juice is used for this stellar white that will have many people scratching their heads in disbelief. In fact, there are wonderfully bright, crisp whites produced in the sunny Pic Saint Loup appellation, but no white AOC denomination, thus Coteaux du Languedoc it is.
The grapes are hand-harvested at peak ripeness when the acid levels are still firm. The nose shows a cacophony of herbal minty notes, with some exotic edges thrown in. The palate awakens to bright fresh acidity and citrus notes with some minerals. This is very fine and very persistent.
