First made in 2021 to take the place of the 2020 Cabernets that were compromised by wildfire smoke, California Red has taken on a life and following of its own. And the story continues. All sites for the 2022 vintage were harvested separately. The fruit was destemmed and fermented using native yeast, then blended and aged in 50% concrete tank and 50% neutral French oak barrels for 10 months.
