From a 60+ year old vineyard known as Montmerond, this wine brings an extra layer of complexity and weight to Sunier’s lineup. Deep and rich with a well-delineated mineral and structural framework, Montmerond, which has been farmed organically for many years, provides added tension and ultimate longevity to the equation. The fruit is beguiling and delicious from the outset, but given time it will exhibit impressive notes of truffle, earth and plums that brings it up to the level of fine Burgundy.
