95% Sangiovese, 5% Colorino. Average vine age: 29 years.
Fermentation process lasts 15 days, with a max temperature of 26°C., in open air tanks with temperature control system. The grapes are inoculated with selected indigenous yeasts. After pressing, the wine is aged for 12 months in concrete vats.
The 2023 Chianti-Classico is an attractive, open-knit offering. Crushed flowers, sweet red cherry, tobacco, mint and cedar give this midweight Chianti Classico lovely aromatic presence and appeal. 88 points. – Antonio Galloni, Vinous, 2025
